Actually, Christmas Tree #2.  We got a tree a couple weeks ago, but we were a little negligent in watering it.  It's pretty amazing how dry a pine tree gets when you don't water it!  Every time someone sneezed somewhere in the house you'd here the "whooshing" of bristles cascading from the tree.  Wasn't pretty.  So, on the way back from getting Trish at the train station, we picked up Tree #2.  And then dumped Tree #1, 90% naked, in the back yard.

Amy and Trish did a fantastic job of trimming the tree (no glass balls - waaaay to dangerous around this place) and staging pretty presents underneath.

Amy also did a great job with the mantle, including hangars for 5 stockings that we'll put up tonight, to start a Christmas Eve Eve tradition.

My contribution to the tree trimming effort was to make sure that the brown couch didn't get in the way - I pinned it against the floor and kept it from moving for 2 solid hours.
