The girls got some waterpainting books from relatives on the West Coast for Christmas, and we let them try them out a little early. They really enjoyed doing their painting with water. They started with their books, then moved on to the paper we had laid out to keep the table dry, then moved on to other things...
But how can you complain about what these cute little faces decide to do? You just let them do what they want to do, and clean up after them.
Not only do the girls use pots and pans as bowls, drums, and hats, but they've also found a more devious use for them - stools! In this episode of "Cops", the hidden camera has picked up the fugitive (to protect her identity, we'll just call her "Miss S") using an illegally obtained "Height Enhancement Device" (aka a pot) to enable her to, as they say here in the precinct, "grab the nuts".
No - really - she grabbed the can of nuts. Fortunately, at this point in her career of crime she needs an accomplice (aka Dad) to actually open the can of nuts for her, so she was quickly busted when her accomplice turned her in. However, just a couple hours later, she learned how to open the can of nuts by herself, so I suspect that I am going to be kicked out of her gang of thieves.
Have pot, will travel. Now she's over by our little work area, giving her access to things like keys, pagers, cell phones, and pens. Lord help us.
